Dr. Amy Hong was born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland and is honored to be able to serve her community as a dental provider. Dr. Hong first became interested in dentistry during her time as a dental assistant and found that she had a knack for comforting patients. Over time, she was inspired by the blend of art, science, and education in one field. Motivated to improve the lives of the people in her community, she applied and graduated cum laude from the prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. Even while studying in Boston, Dr. Hong always intended to return to the DMV and bring back the skills she had gained. After dental school, she completed a post-doctoral residency at the Washington DC VA Medical Center, where she had the privilege of serving the nation’s veterans and gained advanced training in treating medically complex patients.
