Preventive

Dental exam and cleanings

Even with great home care, plaque and tartar can accumulate in hard to reach places. This is why we recommend visiting the dental office twice a year to prevent onset or progression of dental diseases.

Dental X Rays

A dental x-ray is an essential diagnostic tool used to examine oral conditions that occur between teeth, under gums or bones, which many times are undetectable to the eye. These conditions can be detrimental to your oral and general health.

Fluoride treatment

Fluoride varnish is a topical application that provides a higher concentration of fluoride to your teeth to strengthen your enamel against acid breakdown formed by oral bacteria. This in turn, helps prevent cavities in children and adults.

Restorative

Fillings

Our office provides composite resin fillings to restore cavities and minor tooth damage.

Crowns

Dental crowns are  custom made tooth-shaped restoration that protect damaged or weakened teeth.

Dental Bridges

Dental bridges are a treatment option to restore missing teeth without the need of a dental implant. The teeth adjacent to the space are used to secure the dental bridge in place.

Root Canals

Root canals are a common procedure used to save a tooth with an infection or deep cavity. The procedure entails removal of infected tissue within the root space and building the tooth back up with a resin material. To protect the tooth from reinfection, and further damage, a dental crown is placed to support the tooth.

Dentures and Partial Dentures

Denture and partial dentures are ways to replace multiple missing teeth in a removable option. They restore a patient’s ability to smile, eat, and speak.

Cosmetic

Bonding

Tooth bonding uses composite resin to fix small cosmetic issues, such as chips, discoloration, or gaps. It is a great method to match your natural teeth and even out your smile.

Veneers

Veneers are thin, strong porcelain shells that are cemented on top of your teeth. They are great for improving the color, shape, or size of your teeth.

Surgical

Extractions

Tooth removal may be necessary to alleviate pain, prevent the spread of infection, or to reduce tooth crowding. After a tooth is removed, we offer replacement therapy through dental bridges, implants, or dentures.

Implants

A dental implant is a titanium screw-like prosthesis that is surgically placed in the jaw bone to replace the root of a tooth. Implants are a great way to replace single or multiple missing teeth in a secure, fixed manner, without drilling adjacent teeth.

Socket Preservation

Socket preservation is a bone grafting procedure completed at the time of a tooth extraction to preserve bone for a future implant.

Periodontal Therapy

Scaling and Root Planing

Scaling and root planing is the first line of treatment for patients with gum disease, which removes bacteria from under the gums that cause the progression of bone loss and inflammation. Without treatment, teeth will often become loose or infected.  After scaling and root planing has been completed, the patient is put on a periodontal maintenance schedule, where you have dental cleaning 3-4 times a year to keep the gum disease causing bacteria controlled.
